DriverMoney ("we," "us," or "our") is a global financial ledger and tax estimation tool. We are committed to transparency regarding how we handle your business data and location information.

        🌍 Global Business Tracking: This app supports custom currencies and global income logging, with specialized tax estimation modules for UK (HMRC) taxpayers.
    

1. Financial Data & Security

Your earnings, expenses, and tax profiles are handled with industry-standard encryption protocols. We prioritize your "Financial Truth" by ensuring your data remains private.

Local Priority: We prioritize local storage options where possible to keep your records private.
No Sale of Data: We never sell your personal financial records to advertisers or third parties.

2. Location Services (Background Tracking)

To provide accurate mileage logs for tax deductions, DriverMoney requests access to your device location.

Background Access: The app collects location data to enable mileage tracking even when the app is closed, minimized, or the screen is off. This is strictly for calculating business distance traveled for tax-compliant logging.

3. Data Collection Summary

We collect information you provide directly to enable app functionality:

Account Info: Email address for secure Firebase authentication and data sync.
Business Records: Manually entered income, platform fees, and expense categories.

4. Account & Data Deletion

You have the right to permanently delete your data at any time. We believe you should always own your data.

Requesting Deletion:

In-App: Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account.
Via Email: Contact helpdrivermoney@gmail.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request".

All records (mileage, earnings, and profile) will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days of a verified request.
